JBL Studio L Series provides technologies and materials that enhance audio performance beyond the industry standard of 20kHz and brings professional studio sound to your digital home theater.

The L890 floorstanding speaker is video shielded and features PolyPlas™ woofers and a pure-titanium tweeter to deliver accurate performance with dramatically reduced distortion for incredibly realistic sound. Dual 8" woofers deliver maximum bass impact and excitement and the ultrahigh-frequency driver extends response out to 40kHz. Perfect for SACD or DVD-Audio recordings. The tweeter is mounted in our proprietary Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS™) waveguide for improved high-frequency dispersion anywhere in the listening room.

	PolyPlas™ Woofers The PolyPlas woofer provides additional stiffness and damping to the cone surface which provides the listener with tighter bass and extended low frequencies, without breakup and distortion.	Frequency Response With an amazing frequency response of 28Hz - 40kHz, the L890 can manage a wide variety of sound, ranging from low bass tones to ultra-high frequencies.
	EOS Waveguide Evenly disperses high frequencies throughout the room. Which eliminates the neccesity of sitting in the "sweet spot" because it provides solid imaging that remains consistent throughout the listening area.	Magnetically Shielded Normally when placing a loudspeaker close to a TV, the magnets of the drive units will cause discolouration of the TV picture. But all JBL speakers contain shielded magnets to eliminate the disturbing magnetic radiation.
