Convenient Operation with Easy One Touch “Activity Buttons”
Easily create custom buttons that instantly send complex macro commands to
multiple audio and video components with one touch! The AVL 300 uses these customizable Activity Buttons
like Watch DVD to send a series of commands that turn on all of your
components for that activity and switch them to the correct input, and even dim the lights with IlluminEssence. |
Works Through Walls, Floors, and Doors
Never point your remote again with the AVL 300's ability to send both RF (radio frequency) & IR (infrared) signals simultaneously to your audio/video equipment and IlluminEssence dimmers. The included OmniLink™ RF receiver and IR flashers allows the signals to travel through walls, cabinets, and doors, so you can control all your devices from any location.

Lighting Controls
Using Monster's IlluminEssence lighting controls (not included) and Z-Wave technology the AVL300-S can control the lighting in your home. You can can create customized lighting "scenes" throughout your home for different activites. Such as "Watching a DVD" where a single press of a button gets your system ready to play a DVD, while the lights in the room dim to the appropriate levels. Or "Bedtime" where the AVL 300 shuts down all your components and lights, then lights a path to your room. |
Fast & Easy Web-Based Setup Wizard
Easily setup your AVL 300 with Monster's online configurator by installing the included software and hooking up the included USB cable to connect the remote to your computer. The online wizard then walks you through your remote set-up by simply asking you what home theater equipment you have and how it's connected. Easy lighting setup for a single room or the whole house allows you to create lifestyle activities that integrate lighting and home theater. There's even exclusive easy-to-understand online technical assistance and advice at Monster Central Control, plus important software downloads and updates. |

The buttons and LCD display are backlit for easy nighttime use. The remote has a tilt sensor so the backlights turn on when you pick it up. The backlight time is adjustable, you can choose 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 seconds.
