Next, they created a pillar of not one, not two, but three large diameter heavy-gauge steel pillars designed to be filled with sand or shot. This creates a speaker foundation weighing more than 80 pounds. And they finished this masterpiece with ultra-heavy-gauge steel top plates complete with brass isolation studs. The result truly is acoustic perfection.
