Channel Visions IR-4500 coax IR starter kit offers a simple method of integrating IR signal distribution into your existing cable run. The system starts with the IR-4101 IR coax adapter. This adapter installs in between the television (or cable box) and local cable drop, and receives IR commands from the built-in plasma proof target. It then injects these signals onto the coax cable run for processing by the included IR-4000 IR engine, at a remote location, which then sends the IR control commands to the IR-3002 dual IR emitter, which connects to remote equipment to be controlled. Power supply, IR target mount, and 12 male-to-male coaxial cable with F-connectors included.
