Denon’s ‘Universal’ disc playback technology provides playback of virtually all popular disc formats, including high definition Blu-ray discs including 3D Blu-ray releases, as well as DVD-Audio and SACD high resolution stereo and multi-channel music format discs, along with DVD-Video and music CD playback. The DBP-2012UDCI is also compatible with a wide range of recordable and erasable disc formats, and supports popular audio and video file types such as MP3, WMV and AVI, among others. Audiophiles and videophiles with large disc libraries will surely appreciate the wide variety of disc playback capabilities that the DBP-2012UDCI provides.
Blu-ray 3D; Photo, Music and Video Streaming
Prepared for the future, the DBP-2012UDCI is equipped to play the new generation of 3D Blu-ray discs. Via the built-in LAN port, the DBP-2012UDCI also connects to your home network and lets you access videos, music and photo content from a connected multimedia PC, as well as providing YouTube and Netflix streaming capability (subscription required for Netflix).
State-Of-The-Art Audio Decoding
For the ultimate two channel experience, the DBP-2012UDCI features the latest Burr-Brown PCM-1795 D/A converters, which provide 32-bit/192-kHz resolution. Multi-channel content is automatically mixed down to the high resolution analog stereo output.
State-Of-The-Art Video Processing
Standard definition content from DVDs is deinterlaced and scaled up to HD via Anchor Bay Technologies VRS ultra performance ABT-2015 processor, and features Analog Devices 12-bit/297MHz video D/A conversion with Noise Shaped Video processing. The video processor also provides excellent HD 1080i-to-1080p deinterlacing, and the player is also compatible with Divx Plus HD content, from disc or via USB memory stick connected to the player’s front panel USB port
