New Construction In-Wall Sub-Woofer - Installs Between Two (2) 2x4
Studs
Sensonic 150 watt in-wall powered subwoofer consists of a built-in amplifier
SAA4110PB and its associated 10”subwoofer SW4110PBNC, designed for new
construction applications. The amplifier mounts between standard wall studs
using a rough-in kit. The rough-in kit is installed at the same time in construction
as the subwoofer enclosure cabinet and other rough-in parts. The woofer cabinet
is attached to the studs using the provided metal brackets, and antivibration
rubber mounts. After the wall construction is complete and the drywall is applied,
the woofer module is then mounted in the bass reflex enclosure cabinet, and
the connections are made to the subwoofer amplifier. The woofer module mounts
in the enclosure using standard in-wall dogleg mounts. peaker wires are connected
to the amp using the speaker output terminals, located on the bottom of the
amplifier back cover. All in-wall speaker wire terminations are made at this
time. The amp is then mounted in the wall. Connections to the AV amplifier are
made to the front panel of SAA4110PB. The push terminal speaker inputs on the
subwoofer amplifier’s front panel cleanly connect front, center, rear
and auxiliary
speakers to speakers mounted in the wall or ceiling. The amplifier’s subwoofer
input is connected to the processor’s LFE or subwoofer output using a
line cord. The system is now ready for testing. It can be tested just like any
other subwoofer. SAA4110PB front panel controls, phase reversal switch, crossover
frequency and volume control can be adjusted to the desired listening settings.
