The Lamp Module responds to "All Lights On" command from any Controller or software set to its housecode. The Lamp Module has a feature called "local control". This feature enables you, at any time, to turn on the lamp plugged into the Lamp Module simply by turning the lamp's power switch off then on again.

You can also control lights from your PC, even voice-activated X10 controllers. All communication takes place using your existing wiring in the home — no new wiring required!

Each X10 module is given its own address by selecting a letter (house code) and number (unit code) on the 2 dials. A manual override feature allows you to turn X10 modules ON at the light even if there is no X10 controller handy.
