Basic Installation Steps

Step 1: Locate and Install Amplifier & Zone Players

  1. Locate the Amplifier and Zone Players in a wiring or utility closet with good ventilation.
  2. Ensure there is a Network Connection within reach.
  3. Mount amplifier and zone players on separate rack shelving within 6 feet of each other.
  4. Connect 1 Zone Player to network connection with ethernet cable.

Step 2: Pre-Wire the House

  1. Wire a speaker cable directly from the system amplifier to each speaker (up to 4 speakers per zone).
  2. All cables are home run from speaker to amplifier.

Step 3: System Finish Out

  1. Install speakers into ceiling cut-outs.
  2. Connect speaker wire.

Step 4: Software Install and Setup

  1. Install the included software on to a Mac or PC Desktop.
  2. Install the free iPod/iPad app if needed

System Expansion:

Expand to 5-6 Rooms

  • Add 1 ZP90 Zone Player per room added
  • Add 1 pair of in-ceiling speakers per room added
  • Add speaker wire for each room added

The Best Audio System on The Market
I use this setup with my iPad - I looked at many other systems and they were would have been cool 10 years ago when I used CD's... This system works with my MP3's, Pandora and my Sirius online streaming. I love it.. I don't know why anyone would buy anything else.. This system is GREAT!!!
