The A1260 provides users with a high-quality 12 channel amplifier that is perfect for multi-zone distributed audio applications. Designed to complement the A4600 A/VPre-Amplifer Matrix, this six-zone amplifier offers plenty of power, clean sound, and reliable performance to satisfy the most discerning audio and home theater enthusiasts.
Stand Alone Amplifier:
When this system is used in conjunction with basic volume controls - You have a 6 zone power amplifier capable of driving up to 48 speakers (up to 8 pairs per zone if using impedance matching controls). With 480 Watts of Total power available - This system can meet even the most demanding applications. Global or Individual Source Inputs - Each zone can be set to a "Global Source" or to it's own individual Source - Example - A childs room can be wired for an iPod dock, or any individual music source. This source is then only heard in this specific room. This will allow anyother room(s) to be on the "Global Source" that can be heard throughout the home.
