OnQ LyriQ 8 Zone 4 Source Complete Audio Package (White Keypads)

This Complete Cat5 audio package comes with everything you need to distribute 4 sources to 8 rooms, including the speakers and wire. Just add your sources.

Now, the family doesn't have to share the same music over the whole house system. You can listen to any one of four audio sources in different locations at the same time. Choose your music source by using the optional handheld remote, or by using the in-wall keypad controls. Each Amplified Keypad has a built-in amplifier specifically for the speakers connected, giving you total independent control in every room of the house.

Details

Easy Installation:

This home audio system installs by running Cat5 from the H4-AU1002 Distribution module to each amplified keypad. Then you connect from the amplified keypad to each speaker using standard 16 gauge speaker wire. All wire and Instructions are included in this package. You simply need to provide your audio sources (CD iPod...) that connect to the input modules.

Setup Details :

Kit is a Complete 8 Room Audio Setup
Keypads are rated for indoor use rated only - External use requires a covered outdoor electrical box provided by your installer.
Add the Local Source Input to connect music, to play in that specific room only.
Connects directly to the OnQ Intercom system - Mute the music when there is a intercom page, or doorbell. (Intercom Sold Separate)

Basic Installation Steps

Step 1: Locate and Install Brackets (Prior to Drywall)

Determine the location you wish to serve as your structured wiring location and install the optional wiring enclosure.
Determine the location you wish to mount each keypad and install a single gang electrical box at each location.
Determine the location you wish to mount each input module.

Step 2: Pre-Wire the House

Run a cat5e wire from your structured wiring location to each keypad location. (Label Each Wire)
Optional: Run a Cat5 cable from your keypad to any F7417 local source input modules (not sold in kit). (Label Each Wire)
Run 3 cat5e wires from you structured wiring location to each audio input module location.

Step 3: "Finish out" Structured Wiring Location

Install your AU1002 onto the structured wiring enclosure
Terminate each Cat5 cable with an RJ45 connector and plug into its associated zone port.
Keep system power disconnected

Step 4: "Finish out" Keypads & Input Module

Terminate each keypad location with an RJ45 Cat5 connection and plug into the keypad.
Punch down optional local source input Cat5 cable
Install keypads to electrical boxes
Install face plate covers
