Jamo Zone A-Bus Audio & Video Distribution System

The AVD4.6 audio distribution system consists of one audio module (AM4.6), four keypads (KP4.6), one remote control (RC4.6), one power supply (PS 24) and two infrared emitters (IF5). A video module (VM4.6), a learning remote control (LCR4.6), as well as equipment to extend the number of zones can be added to the AVD4.6 solution depending on your needs.

Flexible & Expandable
Being a part of a modular system makes the product flexible and expandable by nature. This will, facilitated by and combined with leading technology, allow you to easily adapt the system for your entertainment requirements by simply adding modules as needed, and because the system allows distribution in up to 16 main-zones and 16 sub-zones, it ought to meet the requirements of any home.

Central Control
The product is part of an integrated system and therefore allows you to utilize all your centrally placed electronic sources in any room. This means that, for example, you can use your CD-Player from your living room to listen to music in the kitchen or even put on a DVD and enjoy movies anywhere in the house with the right modules and accessories.

Simplicity of Installation
An integrated system allowing simple operation of multiple sources to multiple rooms might sound complicated in terms of installation. However, this is not the case. As illustrated in the diagram, there are only a minimal number of wires connecting the modules, which is partly due to the versatility of the CAT5e cables used in the installation, making the system quick and simple to install.

By adding the the LKP4.6 learning keypad you add a convenient in-wall mounted remote control to the Jamo AVD4.6 multi-room A-BUS system. The LKP4.6 is connected and installed next to the KP4.6 amplified keypad. The source equipments IR codes are learned from the individual source equipments remote controls into the Jamo LRC4.6 learnable remote control. Source and button names as well as macros are also programmed in the LRC4.6 remote. All data are then cloned into each LKP4.6 keypad.

In addition to source control functions, the LKP4.6 keypad incorporates Clock, Alarm and Sleep timer functions and provides an LCD screen that displays time, date, source and other useful information.

Connects directly to KP4.6 with a ribbon cable (included with LKP4.6) and can only be used in conjunction with KP4.6. Codes are uploaded from LRC4.6 with cloning cable (included with LKP4.6 and LRC4.6).

The video switching unit VM4.6 works in conjunction with the audio hub AM4.6 to distribute video signals. Up to 6 video input sources and an additional CCTV input may be connected and distributed. Select a source on your keypad, and have both Audio and Video in that room.

This Kit comes with 4 Zone Keypads and a 4 zone & 4 sub-zone distribution module.

Add Sub-Zones - You can expand this system to have up to 4 sub-zones by simply adding up to 4 additional keypads. A sub-zone is a room that will share the same source and volume level. For example Kitchen, and Dining area may require 4 speakers, and the conveinence of 2 keypads. By adding a sub-zone you can have 4 speakers and 2 controlls. When you make a change to 1 keypad, it effects the 2nd keypad.

Add Additional Zones - To add additional zones - you will need an additional JA-AM4.6 Main Distribution Module and additional keypads for the number of zones required.
