You can then log-in to your account to view what caused the problem and forward the images or video to the police. Simply assign your camera to selected zones in your home - When these zones are violated your online account starts recording.
FAST Enabled - If you are using the Abbra 2 Alarm system which is FAST Enabled, you can trigger video recording or an image snap shot even when the system is disarmed. For example, you take a snap shot of the front door each time it opens. You can setup any combination of events to trigger video recording when your system is armed or disarmed, and save this information forever.
Receive an Email When there is a problem - A NextAlarm.com monitoring account can already send e-mails or text messages when there is a problem. Now with the NextView service you can receive a live image of the event. This message can be viewed through your email, PDA or Cell phone.
High Quality Video - The advanced MPEG-4 video compression produces a high-quality, high-frame rate, up to 640x480 video stream. MPEG-4 encoding facilitates good video quality in varying bandwidth environments. The NextView Elite also supports MJPEG compression for video, providing good video quality at high bandwidth rates.
Built-in Night Vision - The comprehensive video features include an IR filter cut which allow you to see the images in low or no light environments when an IR lamp is used. Snapshots (in JPEG format) of the image can be taken and saved.Snapshots can also be scheduled and sent to an FTP server.
Easy Setup - Open an appropriate port on your Router, Then log-into NextAlarm.com and click "ADD Camera". You will then have remote access from anywhere in the world. The Pan/Tilt and digital zoom function allows you to remotely control the camera movement and focus, giving you maximum flexibility remotely. Up to 10 simultaneous users can have access to the camera at any point in time.
