The Cellular Communication Module connects to the Abbra system via standard GSM cellular network. It is recommended for every home as a backup communication line in case of line failure or tampering with standard telephony lines. In addition, it supports remote operation and event reporting via SMS.

This is a must-have for any property without land-based telephone lines, extending full Abbra 2 Pro functionality to properties such as homes with VoIP internet based telephony, anchored boats and isolated vacation houses.

The module can be installed in a concealed or remote location, ensuring signaling in case of tampering with the system. The integrity of the backup communication channel is ensured through continuous monitoring.

How it Works:

You simply connect the GSM module to your Abbra 2 Professional and plug in for power- You then sign up for a GSM cellular account (Such as a Family Plan) and insert the SIM card directly into the GSM module. This unit uses GSM towers and GSM service just like a cell phone - If you have cell coverage in your area, this will work the same.
