Arm/Disarm your Security System with a press of a button.

This nice remote control, goes right on your keychain. Now you can arm/disarm your security system from anywhere in your home or outside of your home. Just like the keyless entry of a vehicle. Push the lock button to arm, and the unlock button to disarm.

Disarm your security system before you open your door. Some security systems require you to purchase multiple expensive keypads for each exit so you can arm/disarm your system. The need for this is now obsolete when you purchase a Visonic Powermax. This remote keyfob can arm or disarm your security system from up to 300 feet away.

This is a miniature PowerCode 4 button transmitter, designed for use with the Visonic Powermax. Whenever one of the 4 specific push buttons is pressed, the transmits a Code-Secure digital sequence that is identifiable by compatible PowerCode receivers, together with a 4 bit function code associated with the button that was pressed. The transmitter signal is encrypted and changes in every transmission. As a result, code grabbing is virtually impossible.

Works well with good range but markings rub off
I've been very pleased with the fob that came with my NextAlarm / Abbra kit in 2010. Range is great and battery has lasted 2.5 yrs thus far. However, the fob would now be useless to any other user as the button markings have worn off. Agree with others that the buttons are small but they work fine for me and prevent "pocket dialing".

Easy to setup
Buttons are be too small to press for some people. Other than that, this keyfob is very easy to setup and use with Abbra system.

This unit allows whoever has access to it to arm and disarm your alarm without entering a code. It makes using the alarm easy, but it makes me nervous.

Works exactly like I need it to and has an impressive range of operation. My alarm is placed where I can't walk in without the living room sensor seeing me, so this is perfect. Also good for silently arming the alarm when someone is trying to sleep. Great
