What Is a Proximity Access Control System?
Proximity access control is one way to replace your home or business keys. Instead of using standard keys you use a proximity tag. To unlock your door, simply hold the tag near the proximity reader and the door will unlock automatically. This system allows you to add a reader at every door, and grant access rights at each entrance. For example, your son comes home late one night, and decides to sneak in the back door. To ensure this never happens again, simply remove his proximity card from the back door entrance, allowing him to only use the front door. It's that simple!
