Channel Plus SVS-52: Five Source/Two Output Audio/Video Switcher
The Model SVS-52 Five-source/Two Output Audio/Video Switcher allows users to choose between five video/audio sources, from the front panel pushbuttons, or with the supplied IR remote control. This versatile product operates as a stand alone or expansion video/audio switcher for home theater and music systems. Combine the SVS-52 with the SVC-10 and have multi-source selection capabilities up to 1000 feet away. The SVS-52 can be used in RS-232 based multi-unit installations systems like Crestron®, Elan®, and AMX®.
The New ChannelPlus Model SVS-52 Video / Audio Switcher is a five input
selector. The SVS-52 has inputs for S-video, composite video, analog
audio and digital audio. The selected video output is available on two
separate but equal outputs. The SVS-52 also offers video conversion with
an active comb filer, for viewing S-video on composite or viewing
composite video on S-video. In addition, digital audio signals are crossconverted
to both coax and optical outputs.
The SVS-52 includes auto detection for active video signals, RS-232
control, IR learning capabilities and LED brightness settings. The SVS-52
has non-volatile memory for user selectable features.
For the first time, ChannelPlus will offer a remote control that will be
included with the unit. The remote control can be used to control three
different switchers using the A, B and C codes, plus direct source
selection, S-video/Composite priority, and auto select toggle.
