Wired up two rooms with GE speaker wire and everything worked out fine. Excellent product and price. Will recommend this to anyone, but do your homework first.

Subwoofer connections are for older system, speaker wire is needed to connect to the back of the wall plate and RCA comes out the front. THIS IS NOT FOR ANY SYSTEM THAT USES RCA OR COAX FOR SUBWOOFER WIRING!!!!

The cable coming from my ceiling mounted speakers is 14 gauge. Wire that thick will not fit into the tiny mounting brackets on the back of this unit. What's more, the fastening mechanism for those brackets is difficult to use. I found the product to be u
